Northern Ireland gets Digital One output
10 extra DAB radio stations are now available in Northern Ireland after The Minister for Culture, Arts and Leisure, Carál Ní Chuilín switched on the signal last week. Stations such as TeamRock Radio, Jazz FM, Planet Rock, BFBS and Premier Christian Radio are now available for the first time.

Absolute Radio beats Google to be Most Creative Brand
A recent study to discover which brands planners find to be the most creative has concluded that Absolute Radio has been chosen as the Best Creative Brand, beating Google into second place. Other names that made the list include Bauer (6th) and Global Radio (8th).
UTV make Dave Monk Group Creative Manager
UTV Media, owner of thirteen local radio stations, has appointed Juice Fm’s Dave Monk as their new Group Creative Director. Monk has previously worked for a variety of stations but has also taught and compiled his own courses at Liverpool Media Academy.
