Sky Movies is set to become the new sponsor of Smooth Radio’s weekly film show, Smooth Radio at the Movies. The partnership begins on Saturday 16th February with Sky Movies promothing their range of films and on demand services. They will also use the platform to support the launch of their seasonal Sky Movies Oscars channel.
From the 4th March Bauer Media’s two North East Magic AM breakfast shows will become one bigger regional show, to be broadcast out of the Network Centre in Newcastle. Magic 1152 and 1170 will share output between 6-10am weekdays and Magic 1152’s current breakfast show presenter, Anna Foster, will present the new show. Magic 1170 breakfast host Alan Ross will be leaving the station.
