Last week was a busy one for the team at Global Radio. As well as Smooth Radio moving into their London HQ, Choice FM was renamed Capital XTRA to become Capital and Global’s only brand extension.
Last Tuesday was an important landmark in commercial radio. It was 40 years ago on that day that David Jessel took to the airwaves to become the first voice of LBC, with the station being the first legal station not under BBC ownership.
