How we got here

RadioWorks was established by Michael Charnley-Heaton in 1990 to provide advertisers and agencies with a specialist one-stop shop for all UK radio stations. More than twenty five years later, we’re one of the top ten UK buying points for radio with billings in excess of £15million.

Dave Gifford has over 48 years’ experience in radio, television and advertising, is president of Dave Gifford International and founder of The Graduate School for Sales Management. The US media giant says this about RadioWorks’ CEO Michael Charnley-Heaton:

As our clients grew so did we! One such client was Vodafone, and in 1996 we planned and bought our first ever UK-wide radio campaign to launch their new national retail operation.

We now currently work on behalf of over 250 advertisers and agencies worldwide and employ over 50 people across two UK offices. Our planners and buyers reach as far away as USA, China and Australasia.
