For the purposes of this document “The Company” refers to RadioWorks Ltd, which consists of RadioWorks, Maple Street Creative and Digital Audio Works.

RadioWorks Ltd is committed to protecting the personal data of anyone who uses our services – we appreciate that you do not want the personal information you provided to us distributed indiscriminately.

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR – which replaced the Data Protection Act), we must comply with certain rules which are designed to ensure that any data you provide to us is processed with due care and attention.

Personal data – what we hold and why we process it

RadioWorks Ltd collects personal data about you to assist us in our recruitment process. This data consists of information including your name, address, email address, phone numbers, work and education history, details of your eligibility to work through passport or visa information and your responses to / results of any skills assessments or personality profiling we may choose to carry out as part of our recruitment process.

We may also do background checks and request/hold professional and character references which may include holiday, sickness and other absence records as well as disciplinary or grievance records, salary information, dates of employment and job title.

We collect and process personal data only so far as is necessary and in compliance with all applicable legislation. By applying for a role with us, or sending a speculative enquiry, you consent to us collecting and processing personal data supplied by you and disclosing this information to other employees of RadioWorks Ltd who may be involved in the recruitment process.

How long do we keep your personal data?

Personal data relating to job applicants (other than the person who is successful) will normally be deleted after two years.

However if you are successful in undertaking employment with us, although there is no specific period for which we will keep your personal data, we will not keep it for longer than is necessary for our purposes. In general, we will keep your personal data for the duration of your employment and for a period afterwards. In considering how long to keep it, we will take into account its relevance to our business and your employment either as a record or in the event of a legal claim.

Status of this notice and changes to the notice

This notice does not form part of any contract of employment or other contract to provide services and does not create contractual rights or obligations. It may be amended by us at any time.
We reserve the right to update this privacy notice at any time, and an updated version will be posted on our website if we make any substantial (as determined by us) updates. We may also notify you via email about the processing of your personal information.
