Elon Musk’s Tesla looks set to launch its own music streaming service

Tesla, the luxury car manufacturer run by multi-billionaire Elon Musk, is poised to launch its own rival to the likes of Spotify and Apple Music.
That’s according to tech site Recode, whose sources suggest that Tesla has already held discussions with major labels regarding licensing deals for a prospective music streaming service.

McDonald’s sponsors Capital daytime and buys thermally activated radio ads

Global’s Capital has secured McDonald’s as daytime sponsor across its radio network as the fast food giant targets 16- to 24-year-old festivalgoers.
The ten-week partnership will also include activity across Dax, Global’s programmatic advertising exchange, as well as experiential activity at festivals this summer to promote to McFlurry flavours.

Iain Lee to host Sunday mornings on Virgin Radio

talkRADIO late night presenter Iain Lee is joining Wireless Group sister station Virgin Radio as part of a changes to its weekend schedules.
Iain will continue to host his weeknights show on talkRADIO in addition to taking over the 10am-1pm slot on Sundays – which was previously the Virgin Radio ‘takeover’ slot, with different guest presenters each week.

Jazz FM returns to the Love Supreme Festival

This weekend Jazz FM is broadcasting live once again from the Love Supreme Jazz Festival at Glynde Place in East Sussex.

Broadcasting for over 30 hours starting on Friday afternoon, presenters Nigel Williams, Jamie Crick and Jeff Young will bring exclusive interviews from the likes of headliners George Benson, The Jacksons, Gregory Porter, Corinne Bailey Rae and many more of the 50+ strong acts on the line up. There will also be live performances direct from the three main stages live on-air.
