Deezer adds live football coverage to its programming
Deezer has added new sports audio to its programming roster. The France-based streaming service is bringing live football commentary and podcasts covering games from the Premier League and Bundesliga teams. The additions also include live updates, results boards, and football-related playlists.
Free Radio gets new logos, straplines, jingles and music playlists
Free Radio is changing its logo, strapline, jingles and music playlist in a bid to refresh the brand.
The Orion Media stations will concentrate on pop music tracks from the past 15 years following research into Midlands radio listening habits over a six month period, calling on the views of more than 6,000 people.
The British Library wants to work with the radio industry to explore how to
preserve a representative sample of the UK’s vast radio output. Sound archivists at the British Library estimate that 92% of UK radio is currently not subject to long term preservation or access, and thus will be lost to future generations of researchers.
