The Beat set to launch on DAB digital radio
A new digital radio station launched this weekend on the Herts, Beds and Bucks DAB multiplex.
The Beat, operated by the people behind community station MKFM in Milton Keynes, says the station will pride itself on ‘playing all the hits’ and will provide bespoke local news, travel, weather and What’s On information for each of the areas it serves.
The Breeze to replace JACK fm Berkshire
Celador has told listeners to its new acquisition, JACK fm Berkshire, that The Breeze Reading is on its way.
JACK says it is “getting a new sister radio station called The Breeze, it’s launching in Reading on 107fm this August, so if you’re lucky enough to live in this fabulous part of the world you’ll have even more radio stations to choose from”.
KISS Fresh goes national on DAB digital radio
This weekend Jazz FM is broadcasting live once again from the Love Supreme Jazz Festival at Glynde Place in East Sussex.
Broadcasting for over 30 hours starting on Friday afternoon, presenters Nigel Williams, Jamie Crick and Jeff Young will bring exclusive interviews from the likes of headliners George Benson, The Jacksons, Gregory Porter, Corinne Bailey Rae and many more of the 50+ strong acts on the line up. There will also be live performances direct from the three main stages live on-air.
