World Cup Sports Deals from Deezer
Deezer has planned an artist takeover dubbed Football Fever. Each of the nations participating in the championship have a local artist who has created a custom playlist of inspiring tunes. For instance, Kasabian curated a list titled “Come on England”. The playlists contain music only by artists from that nation.

Andy Bush and Richie Firth for Absolute Hometime
The duo will take over the slot from September. Andy swaps to Hometime from his current 1-4pm slot which will be taken over by Ben Burrell in the autumn. Pete Donaldson is currently covering the Hometime slot over the summer and Ben is covering Pete’s late show.

Format change approved for Love Sport Radio
The station will now be: “A 24-hour speech service for Londoners focussing on sports plus some topical content and local information.” So no longer specifically focussing on business and finance, entertainment and current affairs.

Bauer’s magazine titles get into podcasting
In the past month, Bauer have added two new weekly podcast series, for a total of 73 podcasts. “Grazia Life Advice,” is an extension of Grazia magazine The second new show, “My Planet Rocks,” features interviews from rock stars like Mick Jagger and Jimmy Page.
