RAJAR’s quarterly MIDAS results provide us with context into how, when and where people listen to audio in today’s landscape. On-demand listening is becoming increasingly more prevalent and as the usage of online devices such as smartphones and tablets continue to grow, MIDAS allows us to view a snapshot of the UK’s listening habits, offering insight into the ways in which listeners behave and consume content.

His final programme was full of emotion, content and memories of his 12 years hosting breakfast, firstly on Virgin Radio then Absolute Radio as it rebranded and changed ownership. His final song was Thankyou for being a friend by Andrew Gold, as he and Richie Firth said a very emotional and tearful goodbye.
Bauer has called on the government to ensure there is a mental health work aider in every workplace and college. This comes after they launched a mental health survey which revealed that 90% of the public say they still feel there is a taboo around discussing mental health.
The survey is part of their campaign: ‘Where’s Your Head At?’ which surveyed readers and listeners from their brands including, heat, Grazia, KISS, Empire, Magic and Absolute Radio in collaboration with mental health campaigner Natasha Devon MBE and the Mental Health First Aid (MFHA) England.
