Acast acquires podcast host Pippa
Podcast platform Acast has acquired podcast hosting company Pippa. Acast, which self-describes as “the biggest global podcast company,” announced its grab in a blog post.
“With this acquisition, Acast cements its position as the premier podcast company globally, offering a marketplace for advertisers, cutting edge technology for creators of any size, and discovery tools for listeners.”

Amanda Holden and Ashley Roberts to join Heart Breakfast.
Heart’s new national breakfast show will be presented by Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden when it starts on June 3rd between 6.30 and 10am.
Also joining Jamie & Amanda is singer and TV personality Ashley Roberts, who will join the Heart Breakfast team as the resident showbiz expert.

Global appoints management team for Outdoor division
The new commercial team for Global’s outdoor division will be based at Leicester Square and integrate with its existing commercial team.
Leading the new division is Leon Taviansky, formerly CEO of Exterion Media, who has been appointed CEO for the outdoor division at Global.

Premier Christian Radio recently ran a two-week campaign titled ”Making Life Better” featuring billboards across London and beyond.
The campaign features four different standout statements, each one derives from its listeners on how they have been encouraged in times of need by listening to the radio station, and aimed to inspire Christians to tune in to celebrate the true meaning of Easter.
