Discussions about podcasts continue to increase. According to Westwood One, 75% of respondents said they have discussed podcast advertising as a possible investment, marking a rise from 70% in May 2018 and leaping up from 41% in September 2015.
Bauer Media has launched a new original podcast series with Dave Berry from Absolute Radio’s breakfast show.
‘Dadpod’ is the first series under the helm of newly appointed podcast editor Maria Williams and is a six-part series hosted sponsored by Royal London.
Classic FM is partnering with the RSPCA next month to broadcast two special programmes to help keep anxious pets – and their owners – calm and relaxed this fireworks season.
Pet Sounds, hosted by Classic FM’s weekend presenter and dog-lover Bill Turnbull, will be broadcast on Saturday 2nd November, with a second programme on Guy Fawkes Night itself, Tuesday 5th November.
