Yorkshire’s Capital FM breakfast host Simon Hirst will now also present a weekend show on Gold. The DJ will host the 1-5pm slot every Saturday starting this weekend (May 4th).

Training boot-camp for Real and Smooth Radio staff

Bauer to launch two Kiss sister stations and will close Q

Bauer are set to launch two new digital-only sister stations to Kiss called Kisstory and KissFresh. The network will also close Q radio station after 10 years of broadcasting.

New TV channel TLC launch promoted on Bauer Stations

Sky and Cable’s new channel, which is set to launch Tuesday (30th April), is being promoted across a number of Bauer stations including Radio City, Key 103, Clyde 1, Metro Radio and Wave 105.

FM licence awarded to East Coast FM

After a three year battle, Scottish station East Coast FM has finally won it’s pursuit of gaining FM status. The station, which combines music and chat, will broadcast on 107.6FM from it’s East Lothian base.

Planet Rock’s Nicky Horne joins TeamRock

The DJ will present a weekday evening show on the new station from 6 till 9pm. Also included as part of the lineup is station Head of Radio Hugh Evans and former Real XS producer Russ Collington.
