Absolute Radio wins Best Digital Radio Channel
Absolute Radio beat off competition from BBC 6 Music, Insight Radio and 1Xtra to be awarded winners of the Best Digital Radio Channel at the Freesat Awards 2013. The news comes after the station won three Arqiva Awards last week. One Golden Square

Minister announces Digital Radio Action Plan completion
The Minister for Culture, Communications and the Creative Industries, Ed Vaizey, has confirmed that the Digital Radio Action Plan has now been completed. The Government will make a decision on the UK’s digital radio future before the end of the year. MediaTel
