Simpsons voice actor to lecture at Radio Festival
Harry Shearer, the voice behind ‘The Simpsons’ characters such as Mr Burns, Ned Flanders and Dr Hibbert, is to hold a Masterclass session during October’s Radio Festival. Hosted by the Radio Academy, the three day event is set to take place in Salford with multiple guest speakers from radio in attendance. Radio Today
Capital FM give DJ Avicii his own show
Global Radio’s Capital FM will bring International DJ and producer Avicii to the station for a monthly Saturday night show. The artist sold over 265,000 copies of his single ‘Wake me up’ during the first week of its release in the UK, becoming the fastest selling of the year. Radio Today
