Jones, an Award-winning broadcaster, brings with him the experience of both broadcasting and creative development, having spent the last 13 years working across National radio stations, including the BBC, Virgin, Absolute Radio and Heart.
In addition to his broadcasting credentials, Jones also brings experience of creating and planning multi-platform content for brands including Reebok, Strongbow, Sky and the Isle of Wight Festival.
The newly created post marks the strategic expansion of Maple Street Studios, and will be central to the development of an increased offering to clients, which includes programming, audio-visual content and multi-platform digital content.
Maple Street Studios currently delivers creative advertising campaigns and has a team of dedicated audio-visual specialists, writers, producers, its own voice over agency and modern production facilities.
Jones commented: “Traditionally we’ve offered audio for radio and pictures for television, but as radio becomes more visual, it has to appeal to users across a broad range of platforms. In an audio and visual marketplace brands are looking for more innovative and creative ways of reaching out to their consumers.
