The Competition and Markets Authority has officially lifted its ‘hold separate’ order, following the clearance of Bauer’s local station purchases.

Bauer is now fully permitted to begin the process of integration with its newly obtained stations, further to its acquisition of Lincs FM, Celador RadioUKRD and Wireless local portfolio last year.

Formal introductions have begun as of today and Bauer will keep us up to date as this process moves forwards.

Dee Ford CBE, Group Managing Director of Bauer Radio comments: “We’re looking forward to getting to know our new colleagues at Lincs FM, Celador Radio, UKRD and Wireless. We recognise that this is a challenging time for all our teams and will be connecting with them directly to offer support over the coming weeks.”

“Together, we share a passion for radio – and at a time when the value of the companionship and trust we provide is more important than ever, we look forward to sharing ideas and embracing the opportunities that digital presents.”
