Research from DMA found that most listeners feel the marketing they hear on podcasts and on the radio is relevant to them.
Moreover, the research goes onto suggest that 37% of Britons now listen to podcasts on a monthly basis, a proportion which rises to 67% among men aged 16-29 and 54% for households with incomes in excess of £75k.
Ahead of Leicester Comedy Festival, which kicks off Wednesday 5 February and runs throughout much of February, main partner Union JACK Radio can today announce its full line-up of coverage, which will provide an opportunity for listeners nationwide to be a part of this critically acclaimed event, even if they’re not able to visit in person. The station’s month-long, festival-focused coverage will include the following:
Reward yourself with the latest episode of Diageo’s ‘Bar Chat’ podcast, produced by Maple Street Creative. If you’ve ever wondered why tonic goes so well with gin, then wonder no more – you’ll find the answer to this question in this ginspiring pod.
The Times, The Sunday Times and Wireless have confirmed the launch of Times Radio will take place later this year.
The station will broadcast nationally on DAB and online and will be in addition to talkRADIO rather than in place of it.
