Bauer Media commercial restructure has had ‘positive’ response from clients as focus grows on native advertising
The commercial restructure at Bauer Media is enabling the company to develop and focus strategy around cross-platform native advertising propositions, according to head of creative and brand solutions Clare Chamberlain. The change simplifies options for advertisers across Bauer’s radio, digital and print brands.
Absolute Radio launches outdoor advertising with breakfast hosts
Absolute Radio has unveiled a new outdoor marketing campaign, using scrolling roadside sites, to drive awareness of the station’s flagship comedy offerings featuring award-winning breakfast show hosts Christian O’Connell and Frank Skinner. The radio broadcaster which sees Christian O’Connell man the weekday mornings and Skinner present the Saturday morning slot will celebrate comedy in a series of roadside ads – informing commuters that the station does not only offer music and football content. O’Connell’s weekly show currently has an average of 1.5 million listeners however Absolute Radio will be looking to grow that audience with these latest ads.
Noel Gallagher will lead a panel of music industry insiders at a special one-off XFM event in November. He’s agreed to the special evening to raise money for Global’s Make Some Noise charity, at the Hammersmith Club in London on Monday 3 November.
Jazz FM has taken delivery of a brand new responsive website from G Media, along with a new smart phone app. The new website features a higher quality stream in Radioplayer for listeners who are logged in, plus 7 day catch-up for all programmes online and in the new mobile apps.
