The Times newspaper has become talkSPORT’s exclusive press partner for the duration of the World Cup in Brazil after the pair signed a media partnership deal. The UTV Media-owned station has commentary rights for the tournament including England’s matches.

Trading is improving at UKRD

Private radio operator UKRD, owner of sixteen stations across England including Stray FM, Pirate FM and Eagle Radio, has said that trading is continuing to improve. The company advised shareholders that trading is patchy but the underlying position shows growing confidence and increasing turnover and profitability.

Coldplay partner with Bauer to reach 9 million listeners

Coldplay will broadcast a concert from the Royal Albert Hall on 1 July to over 9 million listeners after partnering with the Bauer Media Group. The performance will be heard across Absolute Radio, Magic 105.4, Kerrang! and In:Demand as well as on Bauer Place radio portfolio’s evening show which airs across 16 stations including Manchester’s Key 103, Liverpool’s Radio City, Clyde 1 across Glasgow and The Hits on national DAB.
