We have some exciting news for you all, RadioWorks has appointed Emily Turnbull as Managing Director.
Emily has been working on a consultancy basis for us since May and will assume day-to-day operational responsibility as well as being tasked with driving the company forward as a radio and audio advertising solutions business.
Emily previously worked for RadioWorks nine years ago as Commercial Director and brings with her over 20 years of experience, returning to the UK from her native New Zealand where she worked in various senior positions for MediaWorks NZ, including Director of Client Engagement and Head of Brand Innovations for radio, before setting up her own venture, Engaging Me.
To support the development of the business, Emily will appoint two new positions to the company, Group Commercial Director and Head of Branded Content. RadioWorks’ current Group Media Director, Emma Hill, who has played a key part in the business for 18 years, will become Regional Business Director, with a focus on continuing the expansion of the fast-growing regional client base, whilst continuing to contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business.

The new structure and appointments will be key to achieving that, whilst retaining Emma Hill as Regional Business Director will be integral to the successful development of RadioWorks in the regions.”
Emily is currently seeking potential candidates to fill both new positions, based in the London Head Office.
The role of Group Commercial Director will have oversight across the full RadioWorks portfolio.
The role of Head of Branded Content will be charged with working with clients and media owners to develop bespoke, innovative branded content ideas and solutions.
