Here are the radio listening headlines from the RAJAR release for Q3 2015. All statistics are for weekly listening unless otherwise stated.

The networked stations
continue to high reach with listening figures in the millions;
Heart 9.1m,
Capital 7.4m,
Kiss 5.4m,
Smooth 4.8m, and,
Absolute 4.1m all posted quarter on quarter increases. |

47.8 million (9 out of
10) adults listen to
radio every week, with 65%
listening to commercial radio.

41.9% of all listening is via digital platforms with
56.1% of the population tuning in digitally every week.

Kiss is London's most popular station for only the second time in its history (2.1m), squeezing
Capital off the top spot.
Magic has held off
Heart for the third place spot, with
LBC some distance behind in fifth place. Clyde 1 remains the most listened to commercial station in Scotland with 576,000 weekly listeners.

Absolute 80s
tops the digital-only station race with 1.5m and
Kisstory is not far behind on 1.3m listeners. The share of radio listening via a digital platform is now at its highest ever with 41.9% of all listening hours being digital..

Dave and Lisa on Capital FM are the most listened to breakfast show in London (980,000) despite Capital no longer being the most listened to station.
Magic (Nick Snaith) retains 2nd place followed by
Kiss (Ricky, Melvin and Charlie) in 3rd place with
LBC (Nick Ferrari) up to 4th place. |

Commercial radio’s share of listening versus the BBC is at
44.1%, however it is at a local level where commercial radio really dominates with
more than three times
the amount of listeners. |
