A single tweet announcing the news was sent out, days after a backlash against Katie for her own tweets and opinions following the Manchester Arena bombing.

Darlington-based Star Radio North East has announced plans to go on digital radio for the first time and also says it will be moving its studios to a new facility in Durham.
The station was saved from closure by View TV Group earlier this year, when previous owner UKRD sold off the former Alpha 103.2 and Durham FM licences because they weren’t financially viable to run.
talkSPORT signs exclusive deal for EFL rights
talkSPORT will have more live exclusive English football than 5 live next season after a deal with the English Football League. The network has secured exclusive radio rights to the Sky Bet EFL Championship, League One and League Two for the next three seasons. The deal means talkSPORT and talkSPORT 2 will have more exclusive English football than any other UK broadcaster.
