100% IPA Credit or above pass rate for RadioWorks staff

The award-winning course, conducted by professional advertising body the IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising), required candidates to complete of 30 hours of studying followed by a two hour written exam at Central Hall Westminster in London or Mea House in Newcastle.

Over 1000 people took part in this year’s course from organisations including Direct Line Group, Haymarket and Newsworks.

Group CEO Michael Charnley-Heaton said, “We’re delighted with the results and congratulate our staff on their hard work and achievement. One of the main reasons behind our membership of the IPA was to give our employees some fantastic training opportunities, to aid both their personal development and the continued growth of the company.”

Staff taking part in the course used an online learning programme to enhance their understanding on everything to do with advertising agencies. From client relationships to media briefs, the candidates worked outside office hours to obtain the knowledge required to obtain a pass in the exam.

Nine staff members achieved Credit with two employees being awarded the top grade Distinction.

Catherine Lodge, Ella Mitchell, Jack Allen, Jade Barrett, Jessica Bernard, Katie Gilbert, Kirsten Jeffrey, Lyndsay Goodfellow, Natasha Ricketts, Saskia Buckley and Susan Lessels were all invited to a Graduation event in July to receive congratulations from IPA President Ian Priest.

Furthermore, the IPA will detail the names of successful candidates in the advertising press throughout July to coincide with the event.
