Absolute Radio to launch on 105.2 FM in the West Midlands
Absolute will be launching on 105.2 FM in the West Midlands the week commencing Monday September 7, 2015. The move will take over the frequency from Planet Rock in advance of the RAJAR Q4 2015 survey that will take place on September 21.
The four Labour leadership contenders will go head-to-head in a live hustings on LBC this week on Wednesday 22 July at 7pm. Presenter Iain Dale will host the 90-minute clash between Andy Burnham, Yvette Cooper, Jeremy Corbyn and Liz Kendall.
Sun FM has given away five thousand pounds to a listener, who had to spend it in one shopping spree. Ten finalists took part in the competition over a two week period, and on the final day they all had to guess the closest price of a number of items.
Amazon overtook Apple as UK’s biggest music retailer last year
Amazon’s share of total spend on the category overtook Apple’s for the first time, according to freshly published BPI statistics. Across physical and digital sales, Amazon took 27% of all spending in the UK in 2014, with iTunes on 26.7%.
