Radio Academy confirms streamlined new look
The Radio Academy announced plans for its future yesterday, having axed its popular Radio Festival and Radio Awards late last year and shut its year-round London office. Moving forward the Academy, which brings together both BBC and commercial radio, will have a “streamlined structure” with “learning and networking” at its core.
Ofcom invites applicants for small scale DAB trials
Ofcom has today confirmed plans for up to ten trials of ‘small scale DAB’ across the UK, to help explore how smaller commercial radio and community radio stations can access DAB digital radio without the need to obtain costly carriage on existing DAB digital radio multiplexes.
Apple hints at iTunes overhaul with music journalist job ad
