Google is launching a music festival called Good Fest

Google is launching a music festival called Good Fest later this month, which it is describing as a “a first-of-its-kind livestream festival”. The first concert will see English indie band Glass Animals perform at BAM Cafe in New York City on November 29. A further four shows will follow across four different cities in the US, all livestreamed on YouTube.

The show, ‘Jonny Gould on Sunday’, will cover the news headlines, current affairs and major interviews, plus features on music, theatre and business from 4pm till 7pm.

Angel Radio to Broadcast in London on DAB

Nostalgic station Angel Radio is joining the DAB line-up in London, making its programmes available in the Capital for the first time. Tests started this week ahead of a full launch before Christmas, and the station is asking listeners to donate around £5,000 so it can afford the licences to broadcast in London.

Big Top 40 co-host Kat Shoob now on Heart’s networked Late Show.

Kat takes over from Zoe Hardman who has been on the show for the last 16 months. Kat has previously hosted evenings on Capital FM with Rich Clarke, and covered on Capital Breakfast. She will continue to co-host the Big Top 40 show across the UK commercial radio network.
