2015 was a great year for all things audio, so as we head into 2016, let’s take a quick look at some of the biggest stories from the year:
- Global’s XFM was no more as we saw the launch of Radio X with an all star line up including Chris Moyles, Vernon Kay and Johnny Vaughan.
- Ed Vaizey, the UK’s Culture Minister announced that three quarters of new cars now have DAB as standard.
- There were numerous stories around streaming services – the launch of Apple Music and Jay Z’s Tidal, being the most notable stories of 2015.
We know that 2016 will be full of even more audio industry stories, and RadioWorks will of course be there to keep you up to date with all the important facts.
