Yes, we all know that Valentine’s Day is coming up this week, but today is also a day of love…for radio!
Now in its 6th year, World Radio Day is a chance to celebrate radio and how it helps to shape our lives.
Radio in the UK is very accessible, with the latest RAJAR figures revealing that 90% of the population tune in each week. As radio specialists, we of course believe that radio is the most dynamic, reactive and engaging medium there is. Over the years the medium has successfully adapted to 21st century changes and now offers a number of new ways to interact and engage with listeners.
Radio is the perfect method for brands to develop their relationships with consumers, whether it is through creative and compelling adverts or innovative branded content and IPA data shows that brands advertising on radio are four times more likely to be considered trustworthy.
