Feb 2013  Radio News

Absolute Radio’s Rock ‘N’ Roll Football is the station’s home of Barclay’s Premier League commentary every Saturday and this weekend Johnny will host the featured post match show immediately after Jim Proudfoot’s live commentary of the Arsenal V Stoke game.

Johnny, a Chelsea fan, will be live for two hours from 5pm on Saturday afternoon giving his take on all the afternoon’s Premier League action as well as taking calls from fans as they head home from the game.

Johnny is no stranger to Absolute Radio’s listeners having fronted the station’s Olympic coverage ‘Johnny Vaughan Live From Hyde Park’ last summer. The show, which came live from backstage at BT London Live, featured live music and Mo?liwo?ci guests including Jessica Ennis, Sir Bradley Wiggins and Sir Chris Hoy.

Tony Moorey, Content Director at Absolute Radio said “It was a real pleasure working with Johnny across the summer – he’s a broadcaster at the top of his game. We can’t wait to welcome him back into the Absolute Radio fold.”

Johnny Vaughan said, “Everybody knows I’m Nha a huge footy fan and I can’t wait to get back on the airwaves this weekend”

Ian Wright will return to Rock N Roll Football the following week on Saturday 9 February.
