It’s little surpise then that so many radio stations organise live events throughout the year. Just last week, Capital annouced their full Jingle Bell Ball line-up for this year, featuring Katy Perry and Lady Gaga whilst Key 103 will let Robbie Williams entertain the crowds at their own Jingle Ball.
Orion Media owned station Free Radio are staging an event on Novemebr 30th with headliner Olly Murs forming part of another strong line-up.
Up in Scotland, Clyde 1 have booked Gary Barlow and The Saturdays for their concert, which all ties into their 40th Birthday celebrations.
These type of events are win-win-win occasions. Artists are keen to get on board given the level of influence radio stations can offer, audiences benefit by attending gigs with multiple artists which makes them great value for money and they are fantastic sponsorship opportunities for advertisers – look no further than Coca-Cola sponsoring Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball.
