Radio Updates

It’s comeback season and we have plenty of great stories coming your way. From RAJAR results and station revivals to former favourite presenters returning to Radio.
Our first comeback this week starts with Q1 RAJAR results. Capital has returned as the #1 breakfast show in London, commercial radio is back in front of the BBC with 34.5m listening hours each week and digital radio’s share of listening is up to 47.2%. A fantastic start to the first quarter of 2017.

This month we’ve seen several radio reboots and revivals. Last week we had Primordial Radio, a TeamRock crowdfunded project and this week, Radio Caroline is back on AM full time. There’s good and bad news for presenters this week however, as we see old faces return to radio and fan favourites leave temporarily.
