RadioWorks were recently named by The London Stock Exchange as one of the UK’s 1000 most inspiring companies and are aiming to lead the way in exploring how radio advertising campaigns should evolve on digital and online platforms.

RadioWorks CEO Michael Charnley-Heaton said “More and more technical possibilities are opening up in radio and audio advertising, both analogue and digital, and this partnership gives us more power to translate them into exciting and innovative creative ideas. Our media planning and buying service, fantastic studio facilities and award-wining creative team, combined with Neil’s huge track record and radio expertise put us in prime position to capitalise on all the opportunities out there for audio.”

Since forming Fresh Air in 2003, Cowling has worked on a huge range of promotional and advertising campaigns for the BBC and commercial clients, including the BBC’s London 2012 Olympics campaign, TV Licensing, Radioplayer and ITV’s radio ads. He’s won Sonys, New York Festival, Promax, and Creative Circle awards for his writing and production.

Neil Cowling said “It’s such an exciting time to be working in audio, and I’m thrilled to be joining the talented and ambitious team at RadioWorks. I love creating great audio that engages listeners and now I’ve got the chance to take that passion into whole new areas for very exciting clients.”

Fresh Air Production, based in Swindon, will continue to produce radio programmes and promotions, as well as offering training and mobile services.

The news adds to an already bumper 2015 for RadioWorks which is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary and has become the seventh biggest buying point for radio in the UK, with billings in excess of £20 million. Radio advertising specialists, RadioWorks and Maple Street Studios, have announced a partnership with Fresh Air Production to develop and extend the creative arm of the business.
