Amongst the digital debate, it’s worth noting the results of a recent consumer survey concerning the BBC’s exclusive access over the license fee. 70% of voters believe it should be cut or scrapped before the Charter is rewritten in 2016. To compensate, there is support for advertising as a source of income on the BBC across their media outlets, including radio.
