Smooth Chill goes national

Smooth Chill is now available nationwide following its inclusion in the D1 national DAB multiplex.
Global launched the station last year, replacing ‘Chill’. The announcement followed a week-long reveal of new stations, including Heart 70s, Heart 90s, Capital XTRA Reloaded and Smooth Country.
The Smooth Radio sister station is dedicated to ambient music, playing a wide selection of chillout tunes from a variety of artists and genres.
Listeners demonstrated a strong interest in this relaxing music station as Smooth Chill posted 301K weekly listeners in its first set of RAJAR results.
