You may have seen our two newsletters showcasing the headlines and our thoughts on this quarter’s results but if you missed them, but here are a few more highlights that are worth a mention:
- Commercial radio records its highest ever audience (35.1m), overtaking the BBC for the first time in 15 years.
- On average a listener tunes into 21 hours and 4 minutes of live radio per week.
- 9 out of the top 10 digital commercial stations are Bauer Media owned.
- 32% of adult social media users claim to received updates about their favourite radio station/ presenter.
